We are proud of many aspects of the Focus Marketing Events company culture. One of the most important is being transparent with our entire team, about good things as well as bad. It involves a couple different applications.
First, we make sure we’re clear about company goals and exactly what our expectations are from each associate. Everyone knows what we’re trying to do and what they’re expected to handle to make it work. Goal setting is important at Focus Marketing Events, and our entire team is involved in the process. We’re also transparent about our methods, tracking how well we’re performing on each metric we’ve chosen as important, and sharing that information with our team so they know how well they’re doing or where they need to kick it up.
Transparency also means discussing problems with everyone. If you’ve been seeing progress all along, sharp team members have probably been identifying issues and proactively resolving them. When the unexpected comes along, however, sharing that information as well bolsters team trust and loyalty.
A team that knows exactly what their executives expect and how to perform to get there tends to be happy and feel in control of their future. Our Focus Marketing Events team appreciates this transparency and thinks it’s one of the key aspects that makes our company culture great.
